Groundbreaking on course redesign began in June 2015 and was completed in August by Bob Cupp. Course greens are converted from Bermuda to Tif-eagle and Billy Bunker systems are added.

Honours Golf becomes an official brand offered by Troon, and NorthRiver becomes one of the first Honours Golf managed properties to be affiliated with Troon Privé, a selective group of private clubs managed by Troon.
